How do I watch via Chromecast?

Requirements

  • Phone/tablet with the Classix app, or Chrome browser on a computer
  • Chromecast device or a TV with Chromecast/Google TV built in
  • Phone/computer and Chromecast on the same Wi-Fi network

Cast from iPhone or Android

  1. Open Classix and start playing a title.
  2. Tap the Cast icon in the player.
  3. Select your Chromecast/TV.
  4. Control playback (play/pause/seek) from your phone.

Cast from the web

  1. Open web.classixapp.com in Chrome.
  2. Start playing, then click the browser’s Cast button (or Chrome menu → Cast).
  3. Choose your Chromecast/TV.

Troubleshooting

  • Confirm phone/computer and Chromecast are on the same Wi-Fi.
  • Restart your Chromecast (unplug power 10 seconds, then plug back in).
  • Restart your router and mobile device.
  • Disable VPNs/Proxies and battery saver modes while casting.
  • On iOS, ensure Local Network access is allowed for Classix (Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network).
  • Update Google Home and Chromecast firmware.
Note: If you purchased Classix+ in-app, use Restore Purchase on your phone first, then sign in so access carries to casting.
